The Romantic Times Convention is an annual festival held in the USA, which Richelle has attended many times. This year it is in Chicago, Illinois from April 11 – April 15, 2012, so make sure you get along to see some amazing authors, and of course our favorite, Richelle! It seems that Razorbill / Penguin Teen, while constantly bringing out awesome YA Books for us all to read, have also made the commitment to ride ‘with the times’ of technology and provide us, the readers, with awesome features like Apps, YouTube Videos and more – we’re happy!

I found this great fan cast list over on Bloggers[heart]Books.  Phoebe Tonkin (who many will know as Faye Chamberlain from The Secret Circle) for Rose, Candice Accola (Caroline in The Vampire Diaries) is on the list for Lissa, and Dimitri?  Oh, I think you might just have to head over there and take a look for youself!  P.S. I love the animated images they have used for their selection for the roles, they are so cool!

Welcome to our Second book review! Hope you enjoyed the last one. I’m a Vamp-lover myself, and love reading anything that has to do with vampire’s, but some time’s I like to mix it up. So this week we are going to talk about one sexy Wolf!

The first book we will be reviewing is Nightshade by Andrea Cremer

Calla Tor has always known her destiny, When she is done with school she will become the mate of alpha wolf Ren, with the pack together they will be guarding sacred sties for the keepers. But when Calla breaks some rules that never were on her list things would never be the same. One of those rule’s was saving a human boy.

Many of you may think yuck love story. And some may think “yay-love-story”. But this book is a lot more sexy and also is not just about love. When I first picked up this book and saw the cover I just new I was going to love it – oh and that I did!

There is no slow parts in this book, every page will make you want more. I couldn’t believe the things Calla was having to do. With being told, who you had to be with, what you will be doing for the rest of your life and being told what and what not you can and can’t do – no one like’s that – but sometimes you have to do somethings that you don’t want to. That’s why I loved this book so much Calla shows that even though she does not want to in the end she know she has to but is every strong about it. I love a strong character. I really liked the book, its a fast paced book with a lot of action that you would want more of.

Trust me you will not be disappointed!

After tweeting to everyone “Hot off the presses: the sale of my next paranormal/sci-fi adult novel, GAMEBOARD OF THE GODS” (See tweet here), we dived over to her blog to find out the amazing news of her new adult paranormal series is to be called Age of the X, and the first book, Gameboard of the Gods, has been picked up by Dystel & Goderich

EDIT : The series has been picked up for two books, but Richelle is hoping for more!.

Richelle talks about the book and goes on about what we should expect, on her blog..

It’ll have a lot of the same wacky humor, romantic and mythological intrigue, and occasional cliffhanger that you’ve come to expect from Richelle Mead novels. I’m excited to write it. I’m not sure what genre to call it. The world has gone through its dystopian phase and is in a much prettier, more advanced era–one that fears religion or anything mystical.
